Early Voting starts on Thu. Oct. 16th, 2025, and ends on Sat. Nov. 1st.
– You can vote early before Election Day.
– You must bring ID.
– Check your voter registration status at www.ncsbe.gov (Click on “Voter Search”)
WHEN IS EARLY VOTING?
– Early voting is Thu. Oct. 16th, 2025, through Sat. Nov. 1st.
– Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
– Closed on Saturdays and Sundays except the last Sat. Nov. 1st until 3:00 pm.
– Location is 50 Coxe Ave. in downtown Asheville (across from the bus station).
– Parking is available on site.
– You must bring ID.
CAN I REGISTER TO VOTE (OR UPDATE MY REGISTRATION) DURING EARLY VOTING?
– Yes.
– The deadline to register is Oct. 10th, 2025, by 5:00 pm at the Buncombe Board of Elections.
– BUT, if you miss the deadline, you can still register and vote at the same time during Early Voting.
– You can also update your old registration during Early Voting.
– You must bring ID.
– You must bring proof of residence such as an ID with current address, utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing the voter’s name and address.
